Pasteles en Hoja

 Pasteles en Hoja         Back Home in Puerto Rico around the holidays, there was nothing more that I loved the most but the beginning of the holidays. On November 1st my family and all families around the neighborhood would put up their decorations and their Christmas tree. One of many traditions in a holiday feast was the Pastel en Hoja I remember when being a kid how my family went crazy over the pasteles these had to be ordered months ahead of time because everybody back home ordered a lot and, not everybody makes pasteles and the people who do only will take a certain amount of orders.   Introduction Hello and welcome to my food blog, In this blog I will be either sharing food that comes from my culture or I will be looking into recipes and attempting to make them myself. I am a 23-year-old mom of two little girls and I go to the University of Massachusets Boston I am Studying Criminal Justice I  want to concentrate on working with At-risk youth.
