Home Made Chili

                          Home Made chili

Before I started my cooking Journey and became the main provider for my family I learned how to cook and one of the first things I ever tried making was the chili. Most of everything that I have learned to cook has been from Youtube (link down below).
These have become the favorite recipe for my family especially my husband. It's a very simple chili because my husband does not like all the extra ingredients like the onions or the tomatoes witch is what makes the chili neither does he like the spicy ( that's a Bummer).  If you have ever been to a Spanish person's house you know that they love to feed their guest Last night I made chili for my boyfriend and his Friends (homies). I decided to do something quick and easy that the guys will enjoy and I stopped at the supermarket for the main ingredients in my chili.

Ingredients

  • Pinto Beans
  • Kindney beans
  • Tomatto paste
  • ground beef
  • shredded cheese
  • beef broth
  • Garlic bread
Before I even made the chili I really thought it was hard to make chili but it actually was pretty easy. the first thing that  I did for these recipes cooked the ground beef till it was brown after the ground beef was cooked I marinated it with a little bit of salt and adobo just for taste. the second step was to wash and clean both beans. after beans were watched I through one cup of water on the ground beef and one cup and a half of beef broth. while the ground beef is being cooked in the water and beef broth when the water is boiling I will proceed to throw the beans and mix them together. I will allow the beans to cook for 20 min and I will finish by just adding the tomato paste and the chili will cook in a low fire for about an hour.
The Chili was a fun experience and seeing how my boyfriend adores my chili is heartwarming it was nice to feed his friends but at the same time, it was a nervous wreck because I wanted to make sure that they loved my food and it was also my first time cooking for people other than my family. As time passes my cooking skills get better In latinos a woman who knows how to cook is a way of pride and honor for people to love eating our food.

Till next time,
